Just Released and Now Available for “Stressed-Out” parents ~ The Complete Home-Schooling Resource Portal
FORT MYERS, FLORIDA (PRWEB) February 2, 2006
For parents who are thinking of taking their kids out of public schools and trying to offer them a great education from home, they’re going to need some serious “super hero” nerves and plenty of helpful resources. Today was the official Launch of an “Emergency Relief” Portal designed to assist the overly-stressed Home-school parent. The HomeschoolHeart.net web Portal was originally created to offer Home-School Curriculum resources and reviews, but was later re-designed as a complete Home-Schooling Information Portal and Parent support website.
In the tradition of “give and ye shall receive,” Home-School Heart offers plenty of free resources that any home-schooling parent can make use of. The site Moderator and Home-schooling expert, Donna Miller, there is a strong need for high-quality home-school parent resources. As the interest in Home-schooling continues to explode, there is an increased demand for better services, activities, and educational aids. Parents of successful home students are rising to the challenge, and are becoming an excellent source of information, training, and support.
With parents becoming increasingly disillusioned with the cuts in funding for public education, the growth in home-school will continue to rise. Whether parents are starting at pre-school, elementary, or high-school grades, the fact remains- Home-Schooling is now a major trend that is gaining momentum across the United States. There is even a rise in public and private schools allowing home-school youth to have access to certain sports and activities. We share some of the interesting facts of this “equal access” on the Home-School Heart Portal.
Equipping parents so they are ready for any struggles that may arise with the home-school experience; the homeschoolheart.net website offers a variety of necessary support tools. The resources are available (without cost), and include (among other things): a very active community forum made up of supportive home-schooling parents, an online journal offering tips and suggestions on home-schooling, informative and relevant articles, and a popular e-course for parents who are considering a home education for their child. There are other resources available, and even some curriculum recommendations and reviews.
Donna may be reached for further information or interviews by visiting the website, or by calling (800) 861-2521.
